An energy contracting, operations, and maintenance company in Saudi Arabia was managing its contract pricing through traditional spreadsheets and scattered email threads. This resulted in a severely sluggish quotation cycle, conflicting contract terms across different revisions, and a complete absence of audit trails during financial disputes. The primary challenge was architecting a highly efficient, fully bilingual system (Arabic/English) under a strict technical constraint: deploying the entire solution on a Shared Hosting environment.
Developed a comprehensive, custom web application (Vanilla PHP 8.1 / PDO) featuring an advanced database architecture and a strict Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) system spanning four distinct operational roles. Engineered meticulous Audit Logging for every system action alongside a Soft-delete (recycle bin) feature for safe data recovery. Implemented CSS Logical Properties to guarantee flawless bilingual design compatibility (LTR/RTL). The solution integrated the mPDF library to export professional, dual-language quotation PDFs in a unified layout, and featured a Kanban-style sales pipeline board. Delivered a dedicated client-sharing portal, fortifying the entire system with a testing environment running over 71 integration test cases to ensure rock-solid stability.
